I'm an introverted dog lover with a penchant for anything chocolate 🍫

When I'm not busy working (because I bloody love it) you'll find me trying a new food spot, or sipping on a cocktail, or three.

Originally from Kent, I now live in Staffordshire with my husband, Ian with our two adorable, if not a tad clingy, Cockapoo's, Bruce and Ruby. 

​

After spending years working in unfulfilling and somewhat dull corporate roles, I hit a huge wall with my mental health. I knew what I was missing was purpose, I was plodding through life unsure what I was here for.

​

I'd always had a yearning to be my own boss, I showed an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. Play acting with my own businesses, and always looking for new ways to make money.

​

But what I really lacked was self-belief and confidence. Every idea I had would soon be burnt down by that niggling internal voice saying '"your'e not good enough'" on repeat.

​

Finally I discovered a new passion for makeup. It's something I'd always enjoyed, but seeing others set up businesses doing something so creative, I  felt like it was something I could try without worrying too much about what could go wrong.

​

I spent the first couple of years hiding behind my (somewhat shitty) brand. Avoiding showing my face in every which way. But I knew that if I wanted to business to do well, I needed to show up and build trust with future clients. I went on a mission to create a brand that had me at the heart of it. Creating my own signature style which I became well known for.

 

As my confidence grew and I became the real face of my business, new opportunities came my way. I was booked out with clients and went on to win multiple awards...

But it still wasn't enough. I had the passion, but I was still lacking purpose. I needed something more. I needed to be making a much bigger impact! And that's where my journey into coaching began!

​

Using my own experience and business knowledge, I became an accredited coach and NLP Master Practitioner. Now as the founder of Because She Can®️, I get to help women to follow their own path in business, to create something unique so they can stand out from the crowd and grow a sustainable business that let's them live life on their own terms!
